40 years of Travel History
Trent Travel (formerly Lindsay Travel) has been a fixture at 87 Kent Street West for thirty-nine years. The travel agency was started by Mike Fortin in Lindsay in 1979 at 12 William Street South moving to the 87 Kent Street West location in 1981. Mike sold the agency to Trent Travel upon his retirement in 2010.
Now, the office has moved around the corner to 25 William Street South moving into another unit with lots of history in the Lindsay area (the original White's of Lindsay Building). It is anticipated that this location will provide easier access for clients and updated facilities for staff.
Over this 40+ years the travel industry has seen revolutionary changes from hand written airline tickets, to online and electronic tickets with computers being the primary tool.
Using a Travel Agent is as important now as it was in the past. The Travel industry is complicated. You need a dedicated professional who is knowledgeable to protect you and your vacation. This is even more essential now during current times with everchanging rules and regulations.
